Many people choose to pay for therapy out-of-pocket, or without using insurance.

Insurance: Insurance can help you to offset the cost of therapy. I accept the following insurance types, and can bill your insurance Out-of-Network if you do not see it listed here:

  • Aetna

  • PacificSource

Payment: Payment is expected at the time of your visit and can be made by credit card. Autopay options also available.

Good Faith Estimate Notice and the "No Surprises Act," for Clients Paying Without Insurance:

  • Under the No Surprises Act when clients who don’t have or aren't using insurance, all healthcare providers must provide an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

  • You can ask your therapist, and any other healthcare provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, and/or at any time during treatment.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

  • For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
