Parenting Neurodiverse
Young Adults

I spent over a decade working in schools as a clinical social worker and consultant. My expertise was honed through direct work with hundreds of teens and families, cutting edge training and coaching around Autism Spectrum Disorder (formerly Asperger’s), ADHD and other learning differences. I felt deeply rewarded to witness immense growth as I facilitated workshops for families and coached parents in strengthening relationships and optimizing outcomes. I enjoy working with parents of young adults around:

  • Developing a clear understanding of your child’s strengths and challenges

  • Honing communication, listening and support skills

  • Taking care of yourself amid the unique stressors inherent in raising a neurodiverse child

  • Helping your young person to thrive and move towards independence

  • Understanding, supporting and accepting your child’s sexuality and gender identity
