Young Adults & Life Transitions: Navigating the Path to Your Future

Young Adults

Entering adulthood is an exciting yet challenging time. Whether you're in college, starting a career, or adjusting to life after school, it's common to feel both energized by new opportunities and overwhelmed by the responsibilities that come with them. These transitions often bring up big questions: Who am I becoming? What do I want from life? And how do I get there?

I work with young adults (18 and up) to help you navigate these crossroads with clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll explore:

  • Building self-esteem and confidence: Strengthen your sense of self and trust in your abilities as you step into new roles and responsibilities.

  • Adapting to new freedoms and responsibilities: Whether it's managing your finances, making your own decisions, or balancing independence with support, I’ll help you find the right balance.

  • Clarifying your future: If you’re unsure about your next steps—career, relationships, or life goals—we’ll explore your passions, strengths, and values to guide you toward fulfilling choices.

  • Healing from family dynamics: Processing your family history and relationships so you can move forward and create space to be the person you’re meant to be.

  • Time-management & academic strategies: Learn practical strategies to stay organized, manage your time effectively, and excel academically, even when life feels like it’s pulling you in a million directions.

  • Adjusting to new living situations: Whether you’re moving to college, living on your own for the first time, or adjusting to a new environment, I’ll help you navigate these changes with ease.

  • Navigating dating and relationships: From building healthy relationships to managing the emotional ups and downs of dating, I’ll guide you through these important aspects of adulthood.

  • Supporting neurodiverse students: If you’re navigating college with ADHD, autism (Asperger’s), or other learning differences, I’ll help you find strategies for success and ensure you feel confident in your academic and social life.
